Purpose
Our goal is to provide our target users with a healthcare app that seeks to revolutionize the management of mental health and medication adherence. We aim to achieve this by offering a holistic, user-centered solution.
Our Process
Understand the Users
To commence our research journey, we introduced a Survey Form across diverse platforms to engage potential participants for interviews. This form served as a means to delve into users' perceptions of mental health and its significance, shaping our interview scripts and guiding the formulation of pertinent questions.

Out of the 26 surveys we received, we conducted interviews with a total of 8 participants, considering the timeline constraints. During these interviews, we explored participants' perspectives on mental well-being and their preferred strategies for maintaining positivity and wellness.

After conducting interviews, we created an affinity map to organize all the information gathered from the participants. This included minor details and insights, which we divided into a total of six categories. Each category caters to different types of information, allowing us to effectively analyze and interpret the data.

Sarah attempts to locate an app to alleviate her anxiety but encounters pain points such as inaccurate information, ineffective solutions, paywalls, and difficulty finding an affordable therapist. She desires a more streamlined solution that integrates mindful practices.
Lightning Demo Competitive Research
In our lightning demo rounds, we explored various apps and websites offering functionalities similar to platforms like Headspace, BetterHelp, and Wysa. Throughout our evaluations, we observed vibrant colors and engaging imagery, personalized and curated content, clear and straightforward interfaces, and a reassuring and engaging user experience. These insights highlight a keen understanding of user needs within the competitive landscape.
Brainstorm
We proceeded to refine the options by evaluating them against the user's needs. Subsequently, we held a brainstorming session to solidify the features. Collaboratively, we compiled a list of all the pertinent features identified through research and conducted voting to finalize the selection for product development.
Our Solution
The final decision led to the creation of a one-stop platform for all things mental health. This platform integrates essential features to effectively manage mental well-being, eliminating the need to switch between various platforms. Its primary aim is to enhance resource discoverability and alleviate the stress of finding tailored assistance and tracking progress.

The color palette resonates with tranquility, aiming to soothe, inspire, and guide users on a harmonious visual journey.
Utilizing iconography as intuitive signposts, the design strategically reduces user effort by employing visual cues for effortless navigation and communication, ensuring swift comprehension and ease of interaction. Incorporating a blend of manually crafted icons and resources sourced from platforms like The Noun Project and Figma plugins such as the 'Material Design Icons,' the iconography embodies a diverse visual language.

In our design, typography serves as a foundational element that embodies our commitment to mindfulness and tranquility. We've meticulously selected fonts that evoke a sense of calm and balance, aligning with our ethos of promoting mental well-being.
By integrating the contemporary elegance of Poppins with the balanced legibility of Hind, we create a typographic landscape that reflects modernity while facilitating clear and effortless reading.

Structured for simplicity and flexibility, our grid system empowers seamless layout adaptability, enhancing user interaction and visual coherence.
Final Screens
Daily Schedule
The Daily Schedule feature ensures you stay organized and informed about all your planned activities for the day. In addition to scheduling relaxation activities like meditation and exercises, you can also add important reminders such as medication schedules and more.
Mood
The Mood Tracking feature is designed to enhance self-awareness and promote well-being. With this feature, you can log your daily mood, track your sleep patterns each night, and document your thoughts and experiences through written or recorded journals.
By using Mood Tracking, you can gain insights into your emotional patterns, identify triggers, and cultivate healthier habits for improved mental health.
Therapy
This feature streamlines the process of finding a therapist tailored to your needs. Instead of scouring multiple websites and platforms, this feature offers a curated list of therapists based on surveys designed to understand you better. From this list, you can easily find your ideal match and schedule appointments directly within the platform.
Learn
This section aims to increase awareness and understanding of mental well-being engagingly. This feature provides recommendations for books, podcasts, and videos based on your mood insights and interests, covering various mental health topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and resilience. Users can also participate in quizzes and puzzles related to the recommended resources to reinforce their learning and gain deeper insights into mental health concepts. By utilizing Mental Health Education, users can empower themselves with knowledge and enhance their overall well-being in an interactive way.
Relax
Immerse yourself in a collection of diverse nature sounds and ambient music tailored to meet your needs, whether you require assistance with concentration or relaxation while working. Playing this music in the background can create a tranquil atmosphere, helping to enhance focus, productivity, and overall well-being.
Within this section, you'll discover all the essentials to nurture serenity, from guided meditations and breathing exercises to soothing sounds, accompanied by tranquil visuals designed to soothe your senses.
Mindful Breaths offers a variety of breathing techniques to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance mindfulness. Each technique includes detailed information and an instructional video led by an instructor, allowing you to practice in real-time for a deeper experience.
Future Posiblities
In the future, we aim to develop the app further to achieve full working functionality in sync with external resources, thereby enhancing its overall usability and effectiveness.
Additionally, we plan to integrate social features into the app, allowing users to interact with like-minded individuals and receive peer support within the community.
